Workshops

I think the term – workshops – describes best what is desperately needed among Christians.  Oh, you could call it a Bible study, a home group, a cell group, a house church, etc.  But I like the term “workshop” because we will be learning by “doing and practicing.”  My motto is: Classrooms are good, but workshops are better – learning by doing and practicing.

1. By giving you a book to read, then
2. The next week you get to do a 5minute presentation on what you learned or feel is important that others learn from the lesson (call it a 5minute sermon – every one is a preacher – even you)
3. You will also get to role play on someone in the group (practice by doing)

Workshop – Bible Basics

1. Born again
   1. Why that is necessary
   2. Questions to ask
   3. Prayer to pray with the unbeliever
2. Filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues
   1. Why that is necessary
   2. Bible verses that apply
   3. Prayer to pray with the new believer
3. Water baptized
   1. Why that is necessary
   2. Bible verses that apply
   3. Decide when and where you want to be water baptized

Workshop – Prophecy and the 9 Manifestations of the Holy Spirit

1. Everyone can prophesy – even you
2. What prophecy is and is not and how to operate in it
3. The 9 gifts or manifestations of the Holy Spirit – which gift or gifts operate in you now that you are Holy Spirit filled
