Are registration fees refundable? No

Why do we have registration fees?

1.  Seating is limited:

    1. We have to know in advance how many people to plan for.
    2. If…we know far enough in advance, we may…be able to get a larger conference room.
    3. We have to honor those who register early. Once all the seats are full…then city building code says that legally we have to turn people away.

2.  We have expenses – The hosting organization has quite a few expenses to take care of in order to put on a successful conference.  These expenses are incurred even if only a few people show up for the conference.  Below is a partial list of expenses to the hosting organization:

    1. Airfare round trip for guest minister(s)
    2. Car mileage expense (or rental car)  if not by airplane
    3. Overnight hotel expense for guest minister
    4. Guest meals at restaurant
    5. Conference room rental
    6. Conference room setup charge
    7. Conference room microphone
    8. Conference room sound system
    9. Conference room tables for guest minister CD’s DVD’s
    10. Conference room table for food
    11. Food at conference – bagels and juice
    12. Food supplies – cups, plates, napkins, plastic knives
    13. Local advertising to churches, people, etc.
    14. Website expenses to advertise conferences,
    15. Upload new conference schedules,
    16. Upload conference results – video of testimonies, etc. so people know what to expect
    17. Camcorder equipment to capture testimonies
    18. Camcorder person to do video footage
    19. Etc., Etc.
